Bernardo Senna

Born in Rio de Janeiro, the designer Bernardo Senna graduated in Product Design from UFRJ - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1997. He began his career at the National Institute of Technology in 1995, designing equipment and vehicles.
In 2005, he was invited to represent the young brazilian design at the Salon Maison et Objet in Paris. In addition, in the following year, he took part of the Design Mai event in Berlin. In 2007 his work was published on the Design Brazil magazine, volume 2, which presents the most important contemporary designers in Brazil.
As a designer, Bernardo Senna has the philosophy of "design focused in surprise", presented in an unceasing search for projects that show innovative uses for known technologies and, therefore, instigate people's curiosity about new possibilities of objects usage.
